The Great & The Good are working with a London agency striving to bring award-winning work to their market. Having hired from some of the UK's best-known creative shops, the agency has enjoyed a rapid rise over the past 18 months.

Underpinning this creativity however is a deep understanding of their clients' markets and a frequently-demonstrated ability to uncover hidden insights. Without the foundation of a human truth, the work would never be as impressively effective.

As the agency professionalises, it is therefore time for the Founders to play less of a role in developing client strategy and to pass the baton to a specialist Strategist.

Who would be best suited?

The short answer is a proven Strategist comfortable in a standalone role. That's not to say you'll be abandoned - far from it. Strategy is currently one of the many hats worn by the agency's Founders and they will continue to support the new Strategist.

The Strategist is likely to have shown an ability to develop brand strategy and proposition. You will love to get upstream from a client's brief to unearth the business issue at the heart of the problem.

In addition, you will be a hands-on comms strategist. You'll be able to devise the correct channel strategy to best get the client's message across to their audience.

And you'll share the agency's collaborative, mutually co-operative approach. From the Founders to the most junior members of the team, everybody in this agency buys into the vision and works together to create the best work. Plus they remember that they are a team of people with a life outside the office walls.
