A hugely successful London independent agency wants an Account Manager to work on digital/social ads for big name brands

What's the opportunity?

The Great & The Good are working with one of London's best known independent agencies. Having managed to have a pretty successful 2020, they are now looking for an Account Manager who will have the chance to:

  • Work on a mix big name clients and smaller accounts - instantly recognisable brands on one day, nimbler bits of business the next. This role will allow you to both take risks and gain (further) experience of blue chip names.

  • Take ownership for campaigns - as a classic lead creative agency, our client is great at producing award-winning (and attention-grabbing) campaigns across traditional media. This role will be strengthen their capabilities within digital and social channels so you'll be seen as one of the agency's specialists in this area.

  • Learn from amazing people - the agency is stacked with great advertising talent all of whom take a collaborative approach and have a genuine desire to share their knowledge.

  • Have meaningful access to clients - this isn't a paper-pushing role. The agency and the clients expect the Account Manager to push back where appropriate and to bring new ideas to the table.

Who would the role suit?

In short, you'll need to be an Account Manager (possibly a recently-promoted SAM) with experience of working for an agency known for originating creative thinking. In addition, you will have extensive experience of advertising across digital and social channels.

As a proven Account Manager, the expectation is that you will have:

  • Overseen campaigns from brief to completion

  • A solid understanding of campaign strategy - you'll need to be interested by the why of creative thinking

  • Strong financial acumen - you quickly identify potential overspend

  • Nurtured junior colleagues

  • Awesome relationship-building skills - you're popular with clients and colleagues alike
