Account Director

The social media team of a Top 10 agency is looking for an Account Director to work across flagship accounts.

As their social media offering continues to grow, there is now a need for an Account Director who can support the departmental Head.

This role will offer immense opportunities for development as you will have exposure to a wide range of clients. You will also have every opportunity to show your expertise across social media campaigns, influencer marketing and always-on comms.

You

As a proven Account Director (or even Senior Account Director), you will have shown your ability to nurture clients across a range of sectors: from retail to automotive to telecoms to the public sector.

You will also be an exceptional advocate for social media - acting as the voice of the medium to new and current clients as well as helping to educate and train non-social media colleagues. This role will therefore need you to know the current social media thinking and what is possible.

The ideal candidate will probably have spent time in a social media-specialist agency or in a social-focused role within a more integrated shop.

Initially, this is likely to be a 6-month gig but the need is much longer-term.
